For restaurateurs · By invitation
The Restaurant Tour brings your city's food lovers to your tables.
We ran a restaurant ourselves. We know the pressure of keeping a room full in a city where something new opens every week, and we know the pull of the deal platforms: guests who only come for the discount.
So in 2010 we started something different. One Sunday afternoon on which food lovers discover the restaurants that deserve them. Guests who pay full price, come back when it was good, and bring others.
No discounts. No gimmicks. An introduction.

With five other restaurants, you form the line-up of your city's gastronomy.
You serve your signature pairing: a dish and drink combination that tells what your restaurant stands for.
Outside your peak hours. Your Friday and Saturday nights stay untouched.
The exact guest count and every dietary preference are known in advance. You buy in exactly what you need.
Guests arrive spread across the afternoon, matched to your capacity.
Participation is free, but by invitation only.

The average guest is highly educated, earns well above average and dines out more often than most. On weekdays too.

We invite a select number of restaurants per city. A place on the route is not for sale: our event managers judge every restaurant on skill, care and pride. That keeps every stop worth it, for guests and for you.
Per city, our event managers select the restaurants that fit the route.
Made the shortlist? Your account manager calls to see whether it works from both sides.
A fit on both sides? Then we reserve your place in the line-up of an edition in your city.
Participating restaurants also receive a free listing in our restaurant guide: our up-to-date picture of the best restaurants in the cities where we're active.
The guests genuinely came for the food. Months later we still see faces from that afternoon at our tables.
Everything was arranged: we knew exactly how many guests to expect and when. All we had to do was cook.
The room was full of exactly the crowd we want as regulars.
We're shooting this video as we speak!
Participation is free. The majority of ticket revenue goes to the restaurants as a fee per visitor. Guests pay full price; you invest one afternoon of hospitality.
No, and that's the point. Guests pay full price for their ticket. The event was created as a counter-movement to discount deals: it attracts guests who value quality, not bargains.
Participation is free and you receive a fee per visitor that covers the majority of your costs for the day. Your real investment is an afternoon of hospitality. Use the calculator above to see what it returns.
Because the event doesn't fill your Saturday night; it fills your quiet moments. 83.3% of our guests also dine out on weekdays. One afternoon of hosting introduces your restaurant to locals who come back on the days you need them.
That depends. Depending on the other restaurants in the line-up and the number of covers you can seat, we'll look at the possibilities. Below 25 covers, unfortunately, we can't make it work.
