Located in the heart of Leeds city centre opposite the Conservatoire and next to the Leeds Playhouse, Kerala Canteen brings a modern, interactive twist to traditional South Indian dining. The interior artfully pairs elements of Japanese minimalism with modern Keralan vibes, featuring colourful terracotta walls, intricate stencilling, traditional woven mats, and beautiful foliage that evokes a sense of "Kerala under the moonlight". The atmosphere is vibrant, social, and easygoing, capturing the community-driven spirit of a traditional village toddy shop, the Keralan equivalent of a neighborhood pub. Guests are greeted with a warm, complimentary cup of spiced Sulaimani tea before diving into an accessible, Spanish-influenced tapas format where robust, aromatic small plates are served as soon as they are ready. Headed by MasterChef alumnus Bobby Geetha, the kitchen fuses imported coastal spices with fresh Yorkshire produce to create affordable, punchy masterpieces. Adding to the venue's allure is the intimate Kerala Canteen Bar tucked below, which leans into Leeds' nightlife scene with spice-infused heritage cocktails, craft beers, and a relaxed after-hours charm. It is a soulful city sanctuary that perfectly balances the creativity of fine dining with the lively, inclusive buzz of a casual hangout.

Housed within the iconic and historic Queens Hotel, Cinnamon Kitchen Leeds marks the celebrated brand's first venture outside London. For those seeking cozy corners, the venue features intimate snugs dressed in lush greenery and playful matchbox-print wallpaper where guests can watch City Square unfold. Whether you are enjoying cross-over dishes in the main dining room, checking out the bustling open bar for railway bar snacks, or sipping on a spice-infused cocktail from The Cinnamon Sip Studio, the environment balances destination-worthy fine dining with a vibrant, welcoming energy.

Liverpool
Experiencing the light bites and accompanying drinks at each restaurant was enjoyable, we visited places we didn’t know of until that day. The route was well planned and although we knew a lot of people were taking part that day, it did not feel busy or at all rushed as the starting routes varied. We went with friends and had a great day. Would recommend.
Birmingham
Can't wait to do this again! And will look out for ones in other cities. Such a great way to try new restaurants and explore the city.

Shrewsbury
I’d never done the tour before and I’m so glad I finally did! It was such a fun and delicious way to spend the day. I loved trying new dishes and exploring different types of cuisine — each of the six venues offered something unique, and every stop came with a perfectly paired drink, which added to the experience. Being in Shrewsbury made it even better. The time to walk between venues gave us a chance to chat, enjoy the surroundings, and really savour the day. It felt relaxed, friendly, and full of flavour. Overall, it was a lovely day — fun, tasty, and a great way to discover new spots. Highly recommended for any foodie looking for a good time!

Such an incredible concept. The best possible way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool
Great food, wine and service at all restaurants, not rushed. One of the greatest pleasures to eat, drink and converse with a good friend .
Birmingham
This was an amazing tour. It was our first time and we enjoyed having the freedom of no guide and on our own timescales.
Nottingham
Concept is brilliant, allowing participants to visit 6 restaurants in the city. My friend and I attended and thoroughly enjoyed our home town Nottingham. The food was plentiful accompanied by a drink at each restaurant. Good value for money - recommend this to couples, families and friends. Make that special occasion more memorable. Our visit included Vi-Va, Delilah, Peter Pizzeria, Coco Tangs, Baresca and Bohens (in that order).
